Description
Scanner art images are photographs created without a camera. The process combines elements of collage and photography, made by scanning objects directly onto a flatbed scanner. I avoid extensive post-processing, neither adding to nor removing from the composition, and only adjust hue, saturation, and brightness. As a result, the image captures what once existed in my studio. The finished piece may involve up to 20 hours of composing, test scans, careful color correction, and test printing before completion.
